It is the duty of the Women's Missionary Band to raise funds for missionary work around the world and to pray for the workers in God's fields. The ladies of the WMB do so with great joy and enthusiasm.

2018-2019 Theme:

From Our State WMB Coordinator

Our new theme for the Women’s Missionary Band, 2018-2019 is The Lifeboat with the theme scripture of “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:15). And to get this message of salvation to the world depends on us! All may be saved, have eternal life and be a part of The great Church of God, the lifeboat! We must let them know! October is here and we have an opportunity to help do this. It is time to pray, plan and raise money for our October World Missions! Let’s start this Assembly year off praying and working so we may see many souls saved and added to the Church. “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Cor. 9:6-8).

As we all know, Brother Horne is leaving us due to being appointed to a new region. I just wanted to let him know I have enjoyed working with him as the WMB State Coordinator.  He has taught me a lot! He and his family have been a great blessing to my family and me. We have had so many good times, spiritual and just goofing off. I love them and will miss them more than I can say. One thing I have learned, he is truly a man that loves the Lord, His Church and follows theocratic government. He has been a great Overseer for Alabama. Thank you, Brother Horne, for all you have done! May God bless you all as you go on this new journey for the Lord!
